GraceUnfaded is an up-and-coming earring brand, located in Northwest Washington state, and run by an awesome mama named Christa. Christa not only makes all the earrings herself, but makes all of her clays from scratch as well…Christa’s goal for GraceUnfaded isn’t based on profits or success- another super admirable characteristic. She only wants to give glory to the Lord and use her platform to share about the grace that Jesus has offered us through His death on the cross. She wants to point customers to Christ, and share about His presence being with us throughout all of life’s seasons.

Slow-Fashion Spotlight: Wear Pact | Product Review

If you’re wanting to transition to a more ethical and sustainable wardrobe, you may be wondering where to start. It can be overwhelming to find brands to invest your money in- there are a surprising number of small, sustainable, and ethical brands popping up all around the world. How are you supposed to find one whose products you like, but that is also affordable and aligns with your values? Dingbats* Notebooks | Product Review and Discount Code

If you’re anything like me, you really love (like, really love) notebooks, and all things stationary related. But, if we are similar in that regard, we are probably also similar in that we are very selective as to the kind of notebooks we actually prefer to use. For example, I prefer college-ruled paper over wide-ruled. And, being left-handed, I enjoy spiral-bound notebooks, but that’s less important than it being college-ruled. What are some characteristics that you always look for in your notebooks? As I have been increasing my environmental awareness over the last year or so, another thing I look for in my stationary items is a certain level of sustainability. If I can find items I really like secondhand, I prefer to purchase them that way.

Vivobarefoot: Exposing the Cracks in Our Body’s Foundation

Vivobarefoot: Exposing the Cracks in Our Body’s Foundation

We are meant to be barefoot, and our bodies function best when our feet are not constrained within rigid modern-day shoes; it’s our shoes that change the shape of our feet, which throws our bodies out of balance and alignment. These shoes are wide, thin, and flexible to allow a range of movement that’s most like going barefoot, while still protecting your feet from the outdoor elements.

Now that I’m aware of all the problems that fast fashion poses, I am determined to do all I can to avoid contributing to it, and avoid buying new items almost completely. I always try to first find any pieces I want secondhand. If I can’t do that, then I have decided I will either do without (because I never actually need more/new clothes), or I will invest my money in brands that I can take pride in supporting, that create quality clothes and ensure that they show respect and kindness not only to the people they employ, but to the resources they utilize for each piece of clothing… One brand I have discovered as I have progressed on my slow- fashion journey is Organic Basics and I am so excited to share about their vision and mission with you all, provide a product review for you, and give you all a discount code that you can utilize to get 10% off your order.

Life Interrupted: Coronavirus and Finding Freedom in Our Lack of Control

Dear friend, I don’t know about you, but this is not what I envisioned when I considered how 2020 was going to play-out. Though it’s still early in the year, and things are changing every day, there is potential for this to linger for months.

When you begin researching or shopping around for a menstrual cup, you will find that almost every brand also sells a special wash to clean your cup with. This is something that is totally unnecessary for you to purchase, especially as it can cost $10-$20

“But It Was a Great Deal…” The True Cost of Fast Fashion

“This is a story about clothing. It’s about the clothes we wear, the people who make them, and the impact the industry is having on our world. The price of clothing has been decreasing for decades, while the human and environmental costs have grown dramatically. The True Cost is a groundbreaking documentary film that pulls back the curtain on the untold story and asks us to consider, who really pays the price for our clothing? Filmed in countries all over the world, from the brightest runways to the darkest slums, and featuring interviews with the world’s leading influencers including Stella McCartney, Livia Firth and Vandana Shiva, The True Cost is an unprecedented project that invites us on an eye opening journey around the world and into the lives of the many people and places behind our clothes.”
